- After 24 hours, remove the Derm Shield or Saniderm sticker.
- Gently wash the tattoo with warm water, no soap.
- Allow the tattoo to air dry for one hour before applying a new sticker.
- If there is any moisture, pat it dry with a paper towel.
- Some fluid leakage is normal for fresh tattoos.
- If there is excessive fluid, remove a small portion of the sticker from the edge to allow drainage, but keep the rest intact.
- Remove the sticker after 5-7 days.
- Avoid forcefully removing the sticker if there is a scab, as it can affect the tattoo's color.
- If accidentally removed early, apply a thin layer of tattoo balm twice a day for two weeks.
Additional care tips:
- Keep the tattoo clean for at least 2 weeks.
- Avoid scratching the tattoo.
- Avoid exercise, swimming, bathing, saunas for 2-3 weeks.
- Don't apply Vaseline or sunscreen until the tattoo is fully healed.
- Protect the tattoo from direct sunlight.
- Avoid alcohol for at least 1 week.
- If allergic to adhesive, avoid using the sticker.
